A high-potency standardised Milk Thistle liver tonic including Dandelion, Globe Artichoke and Astragalus, herbs traditionally used in the management of digestive disorders. Each capsule is standardised to provide 350mg of Silybin, a source of Silymarin flavones which also act as powerful antioxidants.

• Silybin also inhibits the enzyme lipoxygenase, responsible for the production and subsequent damage caused by leukotrienes. Silybin may also have beneficial effects in managing some skin conditions including psoriasis, where these are related to leukotriene production. Dandelion Root has beneficial effects on the liver by stimulating bile production, while the leaf can help the kidney clear waste and other toxins.
• Artichoke Leaves have a long history in the management of liver problems. Its active ingredients include cynarin and have shown protective and regenerating effects on the liver. Artichoke also has cholerectic effects, transporting bile to the gall bladder.
• Astragalus assists the immune system while Peumus (Boldo) acts as a cholagogue and choleretic.
• Taurine plays an important role in maintaining the composition of bile and the solubility of cholesterol, and also has antioxidant activity and other actions.

Directions:

• Adults only - take one capsule daily with a full glass of water as a liver tonic or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
