Green Program

New Leaf Online Health & Sports Nutrition is a small business that believes in acting locally, thinking globally. Doing our bit to minimise our environmental footprint is not only good for reducing our costs, but also demonstrates good corporate citizenship that is appreciated by our customers & staff.

Actions we've taken to date include:

Energy

• We are an TRU Energy Go Green electricity consumer.
• We use compact florescent light globes to minimise electricity usage.
• Lights and equipment are switched off when not required.

Packaging & Paper

• Where a product is already in a container or box suitable for shipping, then we use unbleached paper wrapping rather than yet another box.
• Where possible, we reuse packaging including boxes and padding material.
• Where paper cannot be used for scrap notes, it is recycled as clean waste.
• Excess cardboard is recycled.
• To minimise paper usage, we prefer to use electronic ordering, invoicing & payment.

Transport

• We minimise unnecessary travel by using online remotely accessible business systems.
• Where possible, local deliveries are made by bicycle.
• Our company vehicle is a Toyota Prius petrol / electric hybrid.
